Purpose of consultation
Fife Council proposes to amend the Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils in Fife.
The Council has agreed to a public consultation exercise on proposed amendments to the Scheme. The draft Amended Scheme may be examined at Libraries or Local Offices throughout Fife, or on the council’s website. Proposed amendments are highlighted in bold throughout the attached document. Subject to the outcomes of the consultation exercise, it is not proposed to carry out a full review or amend Community Council boundaries at this time.
Any Community Council, person or organisation wishing to make written representations on the proposed amendments should address them to Linda Purdie, Team Leader (Democratic Services), Fife Council, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes. KY7 5LT, by Friday 5th March, 2010.
